Integrated Resourcing & Planning (IP&R)

The NSW Department of Local Government now requires all Councils to prepare 10-year strategic plans and demonstrate within these plans the benefits to be gained by 'integrating' many of their internal functions that previously often operated as silos.  This process requires community consultation and  planning at a strategic level which often Councillors and Council Officers have never previously been required to do.

Lightship can assist Councils to implement the IP&R process through:

·        Project management of the IP&R process
·        Focused training workshops for Councillors and staff to understand strategic thinking
      and planning, participative community consultation, and inter-teamworking.
·        Preparation of workforce plans.
